Productivity And Quality Are Top-Issue In Brazil, Too

Qualidade Rio Grande do Sul Erechim (Brasilien), August 2004 - On an event of the brazilian Federation For Productivity And Quality (PGQP), Torsten Boch, executive manager of clearway GmbH, was able to convince himself, that these issues are on the top of the agenda in Brazil, too.

In his keynote, Rogério Meneguzzo (president of the local group) emphasized, the great importance of alignment with principles of productivity and quality to international competitiveness .

The brazilian Federation for Productivity and Quality currently comprises 6.500 companies all over Brazil, that pass through the certification program and train employees accordingly.

To international assessment, Brazil belongs to the emerging countries, that will achieve global significance during the next decades. Brazil today is already one of the main supplier of mineral resources and products of forestry and agriculture. Also, the brazilian industry gets more and more significant since companies as EMBRAER (airplanes) and PETROBRAS (petroleum) are already international top class for a long time.
